I found this little gem in my local haberdashery. I was terrified to even attempt one of the makes until I started learning to crochet properly.
The first project I attempted was the Turban Headband. It was the colour that struck me first, I’m in love with teal at the moment so I was sold! I found the pattern easy to follow and more surpising than anything, my end result matched the images in the book! I found the headband fitted very well; not too tight and not too loose, and it was the perfect width to keep my ears warm.
So here’s the result

I managed to complete it in about an hour and I can’t wait to wear it, because let’s face it, it may be April but it could well be snowing next week!
I also made the Jam cosy project here:
And the crochet hook cosy:
I made the hook cosy in a few different colours and it’s perfect for when I just need to take a few hooks with me in my bag for on-the-go crocheting.
You can get your copy here, and get started on your next project!
Until next time, happy crocheting! 🙂
