I've followed this crochet blogger for a while and when I was in a pinch and needed a quick make for a friend's leaving present I found one of Mina's patterns that fitted the bill perfectly! So I took up a smidgen of her time to learn a little about her and here's what I found out.
Mina is an amigurumi enthusiast who designs her own patterns. She draws inspiration from all around including popular comic book characters such as Spiderman, Captain America and my personal favourite - Wonder Woman.

The pattern in particular which first alerted me to Minasscraft was her cactus pen cosy, it was quirky and lovely to look at as well as being functional and easily made up. I sometimes find that quirky makes can be more for show than for actual use, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one.
A little about Mina: 'I've been crocheting since 2013, seven years now, and I started my own designs three years ago. I really enjoy crocheting and the whole process of creating each design, having to make and undo it until it came out the way I had visualised.'
Clearly Mina loves what she does, and it's easy to see from her beautifully designed characters and patterns. She adds: 'The best part of all this is that I can share it with everyone. I love what I do and it is very gratifying to see other people follow me and make my designs. It's like positive feedback and good vibes'
Some of my personal favourites include Wonder woman (of course), her Pokeball heart keychains because I'm a devoted Pokemon fan, and her adorable baby Yoda pattern which has already taken the world by storm.
You'll find her on Instagram and Facebook where she posts regularly about her WIPs as well as brand new patterns and makes. You'll also find her little teaser featuring the patterns she'll be ending the year with.
Thanks so much for reading, if you enjoyed this post, feel free to have a browse through my blog, and take a look at my social media - the links are at the top of the page.
Until next time - toodles!
