Corner to corner crochet

I have a lot of love for the corner to corner (c2c) crochet technique. It’s fast, simple, it looks beautiful and it has such a satisfyingly neat finish.

My first project in c2c was a hot water bottle cover

The two colours of this hot water bottle were actually an accident, I ran out of red wool! So I had to finish off the second half of the front of the cover in cream yarn, a finish I’m really very pleased with.

Because the c2c technique is so quick too, you can sit and start a blanket for a single bed and have it half way done in an evening!

Once I learned the corner to corner crochet technique, I went ahead with the above blankets and just kept going until I reached a size I was happy with. You can find a brilliant tutorial here, I would HIGHLY recommend Bella Coco’s Youtube channel to anyone, new or seasoned crocheter.
